Be a good friend.

CATCH UP! works because everyone in it is someone's real friend. These are the ground rules, in plain words.

The basics

How it works.

Who can join

You must be 18 or older. A date of birth is required before you go live or ask to meet. One account per person, with your real first name.

What CATCH UP! is

A way for friends to share when they're free and turn it into a plan. It is not a dating service, event organizer, background check, or emergency service.

Plans are 1:1

Every catch-up is between two people. One person asks, the other says yes or no. Only the person who was asked can accept.

Your number

Your phone number and email are never shown to other members. Chat with a friend opens inside CATCH UP! only after you both agree to catch up.

Availability

A porch light lasts at most two hours, then switches off on its own. Plans are shared only with the friends your settings allow.

Not allowed

A few things we don't do here.

  • Don't harass, threaten, or pressure anyone to meet.
  • Don't pretend to be someone else or claim a number that isn't yours.
  • Don't use CATCH UP! to sell, spam, or recruit.
  • Don't share someone's number, plans, or location without their okay.
  • Don't try to get around a block, a suspension, or the request limits.

You're responsible for your own safety when meeting. Meet somewhere public, tell someone your plans, and leave if anything feels wrong.

Your controls

You're always in charge.

Remove or block

Remove a friend, or block an account. Blocking ends the friendship, closes open chats, and refuses new requests and messages between you.

Report

Report a person or a message from inside the app. Reports go to the safety team, who can warn, suspend, or remove accounts.

Leave anytime

Download a copy of your data, or delete your account from your profile. Deletion removes your profile and active product data.
