Your time is yours.
CATCH UP! is a private network for real friends. You choose your people, what you share, and when you stop sharing it.
Your availability is for the people you choose. Not the public internet.
Your number stays private
Your phone number and email are never shown to other members. Friends can chat with you inside CATCH UP! only after a catch-up is accepted, and blocking closes that chat.
Boundaries are enforced
Blocking removes the friendship, closes open contact paths, and prevents new requests, catch-ups, and messages between those accounts.

Availability
Switch your porch light on when you are free. Active availability expires automatically after two hours.
Plans and city
Choose whether plans are shared with friends or eligible friends in the same city. Your city-search setting is separate and optional.
Connections
Friend requests must be accepted. A catch-up request must be accepted by the person who receives it before chat becomes available.
Notifications
Choose email and browser notifications from your profile.
Safety
Remove a friend, block an account, or report a concern. Blocking immediately removes shared access between both people.
Your data
You can take it with you. Or delete it.
Download a copy
Export your account, profile, connections, plans, requests, reports, notifications, and related account data from your profile.
Delete your account
Account deletion removes your profile and active product data. Limited records may be retained where required for safety, fraud prevention, disputes, or law.
What we use
Only what the service needs.
We process account and profile details, your home city and timezone, availability, plans, friend and catch-up requests, messages sent through CATCH UP!, notification preferences, safety reports, and basic service and security records.
We use this information to run CATCH UP!, deliver requested messages and notifications, protect members, prevent abuse, understand reliability, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. Service providers may process information for hosting, authentication, email, browser notifications, security, and support.

Storage, sharing and deletion.
What we collect
Your email, first name, date of birth (to confirm you're 18+), home city, photo if you add one, your crew, porch lights, plans, catch-up requests, chat messages, blocks and reports, and your notification settings.
Where it's stored
In our hosted database with encryption in transit and access rules that check, on every request, whether you're allowed to see a record. Strangers and signed-out visitors cannot read profiles, porch lights, plans or messages.
Who sees it
Only friends you've accepted see your porch light and plans, per your settings. Chat opens only after both people say yes to a catch-up. Your email and date of birth are never shown to other members.
Who we share with
Nobody for advertising — we don't sell or rent personal information. Service providers process data only to run the service: hosting and database, sign-in, email delivery, and browser notifications. We disclose data to authorities only when legally required.
How long we keep it
Porch lights end within two hours. Past plans and messages stay while your account exists. Limited safety records (reports, suspensions) may be kept after deletion where needed for safety, fraud prevention or law.
Deleting your data
Delete your account from the You page at any time. It permanently removes your profile, sign-in, friendships, porch lights, plans, requests and messages. You can download a full copy of your data first.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU, UK, California and India), you can access, correct, export, delete or object to processing of your data. Email privacy@catchup.website.
