- Preventing child sexual abuse
- Preventing child trafficking
- Preventing child endangerment
- Supporting lawful investigations
- Building safety-focused products and policies
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward any activity involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors.
Any violation of this Policy may result in immediate account termination and referral to appropriate authorities.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to:
- All CATCH UP! users
- All content shared through CATCH UP!
- All broadcasts
- All plans
- All profile information
- All reports and communications submitted to CATCH UP!
This Policy applies globally regardless of location.
3. Minimum Age Requirements
CATCH UP! is intended for individuals who are at least thirteen (13) years old, unless a higher minimum age is required by local law. Users who do not meet the applicable minimum age requirement may not use the Service.
We reserve the right to restrict accounts, request age confirmation, remove accounts, and limit access to features where age-related concerns arise.
4. Protection of Minors
Users under the age of eighteen (18) are considered minors for purposes of this Policy.
CATCH UP! may implement additional protections for minors, including:
- Reduced discoverability
- Restricted location-sharing functionality
- Enhanced moderation review
- Additional reporting mechanisms
- Feature limitations
- Additional safety notices
These protections may change as the platform evolves.
5. Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
CATCH UP! strictly prohibits:
- Child sexual abuse material
- Child exploitation imagery
- Child sexualized content
- Content depicting sexual abuse of minors
- Content promoting child sexual abuse
This prohibition applies regardless of format, intent, context, or distribution method.
Any suspected CSAM may result in immediate account termination, preservation of evidence, reporting to appropriate authorities, and cooperation with investigations.
6. Grooming and Exploitation
CATCH UP! prohibits any attempt to groom, exploit, manipulate, or endanger a minor. Examples include:
- Building inappropriate relationships with minors
- Soliciting sexual conversations
- Soliciting sexual content
- Encouraging secrecy from parents or guardians
- Manipulating minors for sexual purposes
- Arranging exploitative meetings
Grooming behavior may result in immediate enforcement action even when no illegal content has been shared.
7. Child Trafficking and Exploitation
CATCH UP! prohibits any activity related to child trafficking, child labor exploitation, sexual exploitation of minors, and recruitment of minors for illegal activity.
Accounts involved in such conduct may be immediately removed and reported.
8. Sexualization of Minors
Users may not:
- Sexualize minors
- Objectify minors
- Promote sexual interest in minors
- Encourage relationships between adults and minors
- Share content that normalizes child exploitation
Content need not be illegal to violate this Policy.
9. Age Misrepresentation
Users may not falsify age information, pretend to be a minor, pretend to be an adult, or misrepresent another person's age.
Age deception that creates safety risks may result in enforcement action.
10. Real-World Meeting Safety
Because CATCH UP! supports real-world coordination, users should exercise particular caution when interactions involve minors.
Adults should not use CATCH UP! to:
- Pursue inappropriate relationships with minors
- Arrange exploitative meetings
- Circumvent parental supervision
- Seek contact with minors for improper purposes
Any attempt to use the platform in this manner may result in permanent removal.
11. Reporting Child Safety Concerns
Users should immediately report child exploitation, grooming, suspected trafficking, inappropriate interactions involving minors, and sexualized content involving minors.
CSAE Reporting Contact
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) concerns are handled by a dedicated escalation path:
- CSAE reports: csae@catchup.website (monitored continuously; escalated to the on-call Trust & Safety lead)
- Child safety reports: childsafety@catchup.website
- Safety line (non-emergency): +1 315 355 7565
- Postal: Believe India LLC, Dallas, Texas, United States
In the United States we report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org. Outside the US, report to your national hotline (INHOPE members at inhope.org) and to local police. If a child is in immediate danger, contact emergency services first.
Age Assurance
Access requires a self-declared date of birth confirming you are 18 or older. That date is write-once: it cannot be edited from the app after it is saved, so an account cannot be aged into eligibility later. Corrections require a request to safety@catchup.website.
In addition, every account that submits a photo for identity verification is reviewed by a human, who assesses whether the person appears to be an adult. Reviewers who cannot conclude an account holder is 18 or older suspend the account and end any live broadcast immediately, rather than merely declining the check. We treat age-related suspensions as a safety decision, not a content decision.
Reports may be submitted to childsafety@catchup.website and should include:
- Username or usernames
- Relevant details
- Screenshots or evidence where available
- Dates and times if known
Good-faith reports are encouraged.
12. Moderation and Review
Our Trust & Safety team may review user reports, broadcast activity, account behavior, safety signals, and appeals.
Review may involve human moderators, automated detection systems, and risk assessment procedures. We may take action based on reasonable safety concerns.
13. Emergency Escalation
When necessary, CATCH UP! may take immediate action to protect children, including emergency account restrictions, preservation of information, escalation to authorities, and cooperation with investigations.
We may act without prior notice.
14. Cooperation with Authorities
CATCH UP! may cooperate with law enforcement agencies, child protection organizations, regulatory authorities, and courts and tribunals where legally required or where necessary to address credible threats involving child safety.
Such cooperation may include preservation requests, emergency disclosures, production of records, and investigation support, subject to applicable law.
15. Reporting Obligations
Where required by applicable law, CATCH UP! may report child sexual abuse material, child exploitation, trafficking-related activity, and grooming-related activity to appropriate organizations and authorities.
Nothing in this Policy limits our ability to comply with legal obligations.
16. Repeat Offenders
Users who repeatedly engage in child-safety-related violations may be subject to permanent account termination, device restrictions, phone number restrictions, and additional enforcement measures.
We may also take action against accounts reasonably believed to be associated with previously banned users.
17. Appeals
Users may appeal certain enforcement decisions. However, child-safety-related enforcement actions may receive heightened scrutiny and may not always be eligible for reversal.
Safety considerations take precedence over account access.
18. Product Design Principles
CATCH UP! seeks to incorporate child-safety considerations into product design. These principles include:
- Privacy-first defaults
- User-controlled visibility
- Reporting mechanisms
- Safety education
- Human moderation
- Risk-based enforcement
No system can eliminate all risks, but we continuously work to improve protections.
19. User Responsibility
Every user shares responsibility for child safety. Users should report concerns promptly, respect age-related boundaries, avoid inappropriate interactions, and support a safe community environment.
Failure to do so may contribute to safety risks for others.
